Obituary of Charlotte R. Vacca

Charlotte R. Vacca, age 94, a resident of Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center, Lake Ariel and formerly of Hawley, died Saturday, November 20, 2021. Mrs. Vacca was born January 12, 1927 in Hawley, PA and was the daughter of the late George and Anna (Oster) Miller. She was predeceased by her first husband, John H. Edwards and her second husband, Daniel Vacca, Jr. She was the owner & operator of Wilsonville Campground with her first husband. Charlotte was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Willing Workers and a former choir member. She was a longtime member of Wallenpaupack Yacht Club. Charlotte enjoyed painting and cross-country skiing. Charlotte and Dan traveled extensively. . She is survived by two sons & daughters-in-law, John & JoAnn Edwards of Hawley, PA; Jeffrey & Janice Edwards of Hemlock Farms, Hawley, PA; one grandson Jason Edwards of Downingtown, PA; one granddaughter, Jennifer Barrett of New Cumberland, PA; six great grandchildren, Jacob, Joey & Becca White, Maci Barrett, Brynlee & Jessa Edwards; one sister: Beverly Eckes of Callahan, FL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Inurnment will be in Green Gates Cemetery in Hawley. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 405 Church St., Hawley, PA 18428
