Jean Gumble Hansen, age 96, a resident of Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center, Lake Ariel died Friday, December 24, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Eric Svend Hansen, in 1982.
Born November 11, 1925, in Hawley, Jean was the daughter of the late Atlee Jackson and Jeanette Mae (Gifford) Gumble. She was a graduate of Hawley High School and a proud charter member of the Wallenpaupack Historical Society.
She is survived by her daughter: Jacqueline Sierra and her husband Bert of Lake Shawnee, NJ; her step-granddaughter: Gabriela Sierra Roes of Andover, NJ; three sisters: Eleanor Hartzell of Tennessee, Sylvia Gregor of Paupack, and Gail Kohut of Dickson City.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Clyde and Giff Gumble; and one sister, Virginia Kostige.
Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a future date to be announced.
