Charles Alfred Martin, age 73, of Honesdale died Wednesday, March 2,2022 at University Of PA Hospital in Philadelphia.
Mr. Martin was born May 30,1948 in Kimbles, PA, where he lived most of his life. He was predeceased by his parents Leslie and Adelaide (Snyder) Martin, a brother, Donald and two sisters; Lucille and Nancy.
He was employed as a truck driver for PennDOT .
Charles was a Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan. He was a member of Cherry Ridge Fishing Club and loved hunting and riding his motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years: Helen Sophie (Acker) Martin, two sisters: Minnie Martin of Lake Ariel, PA and Sally Balon of Wilkes Barre, PA.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 9th from 10 AM to 2 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, followed by the funeral service at 2 PM. with Pastor Dan Baker officiating.
Burial will be in Indian Orchard Cemetery, Honesdale.
