Richard Henry Georgs, age 82, of Welcome Lake died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at home. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn Wilhelmina (Tietje) Georgs.
Richard was a retired mechanical engineer. An avid fisherman and NY Giants fan, he loved his family above all else.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter: Michele Galante and her husband John; one son: Richard J. Georgs and his wife Nancy; and five grandchildren: Richard John Jr., Cameron, Christian and Tyler Georgs and Devin Galante.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
