Obituary of William Charles Whitlock

William Charles Whitlock, age 83, of Virginia Beach, VA died Friday, February 25, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Whitlock. Bill was born on January 7, 1939 in New York City, NY, where he lived until starting his career with ESSO as a chemist. He went on to earn a degree from Rutgers University. The remainder of his career was spent as a successful salesman of hospital computing systems for several well-respected companies. Upon retiring in 2000, Bill and Barbara moved to Virginia Beach. He is survived by his daughter, Michele Gladu and her husband Bob of Virginia Beach, VA; and his son, Charles Mayer Whitlock and his wife Ronnett of Cuddebackville, NY; three granddaughters: Alex DeSimone and her husband Peter, Sara Gladu, and Amanda Ross; and one brother Richard VanNort of New York, NY. Bill is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be a Graveside Service at 4:00 PM, April 9, 2022 at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Route 507, Paupack, PA
