Frances Hudecek, age 66, of The Hideout, Lake Ariel, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at home.
Mrs. Hudecek was born October 7, 1948, in Scotland and was the daughter of the late Peter McKay.
Frances was a homemaker and loving grandmother to "her angels".
She was a member of American Legion in Hawley and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Scranton.
She is survived by her companion: Robert Allen Barbine, Sr. of Lake Ariel, PA; a daughter and son-in-law: Kelly and Michael Spinning of Greentown, PA; a son and daughter-in-law: Glenn D. and Jill Hudecek of Middletown, NY; one son: Matthew Hudecek of Olyphant, PA; three grandchildren: Cameron, Riley and Olivia; step children: Robert, Brian and Eric; step grandchildren: Michelle, Jackie, Talyssa and Gianna; two sisters: Theresa and Ann; and one brother: Arthur.
Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
Memorials may be made to Pike County Humane Society, 186 Lee Rd, Shohola, PA 18458.
