Kimberly Ann Pomroy, age 55, of Tanglwood Lakes, Greentown died Monday, May 9, 2022, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Joseph Pomroy. Together for 34 years in total, their first date was on Joseph’s 21st birthday.

Born April 28, 1967, in Philadelphia, Kimberly was the daughter of Lillian Louise (Geese) Rodgers and the late Edward Joseph Rodgers. She earned her Bachelors degree from Temple University and worked as an occupational therapist. Formerly a resident of the Philadelphia area, she had lived in Greentown for 20 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Nicholas Pomroy and his wife Maureen of Lakeville, Devon Pomroy of Lumber City, GA, and Zachary Pomroy of Greentown; her mother: Lillian Rodgers of Telford, PA; one sister: Sharon Rodgers; and her grandchildren: Jude, Sadie Noah, Nicole, Ezra, Raelynn and Caleb.

A Celebration of Kimberly’s Life will be held from 1 to 3 PM on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Teeters’ Funeral Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley, PA 18428.

Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel, PA.
