Obituary of Joseph Michael Rosella

Joseph Michael Rosella of Hawley, PA died peacefully on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Geisinger-Community Medical Center in Scranton. He was 78 years old. He was the beloved husband of Karen (Francis) Rosella for 44 years. They started their life together in 1977 in a house he built in Holland, PA. They lived in Holland until they fell in love with Hawley and retired, moving to Hawley in 2015. Joe loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and everything nature. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Joseph Nicholas and the late Elsie (Sokolowski) Rosella and stepson of the late Mollie (Dalesandro) Rosella. He was the loving brother of the late Constance Coffin and husband, Jay, and stepbrother of Joseph Dalesandro and his wife Donna. Loving brother-in-law of Diane Weaver, Linda Clark and her husband, Michael. Joe is survived by many nieces and nephews, whom he loved very dearly. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 16th at 10 AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, celebrated by Rev. Richard Beck. Internment will be in BVM Queen of Peace Cemetery, Hawley, at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
