Louis Sheldon Sampson, age 88, of Hawley died Thursday, July 28, 2022 at home. He is survived by his wife, Tordis M. (Undheim) Sampson.
Born February 16, 1934, in Pierpont, SD, he was the son of the late Sheldon and Louise (Wikre) Sampson. A Navy veteran, he worked as a tugboat captain until his retirement.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Stephen Sampson, of Barnegat, NJ.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
