Obituary of Kathleen Dzubryk

Kathleen Dzubryk, age 60, of Tink Wig, Hawley passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Regional Hospital of Scranton, Scranton. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Russell Dzubryk. Born July 25, 1962, in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Albert John and Martha Anne (Daniels) D'Arcy. She earned her Bachelors Degree from Trenton State College and was a teacher for the Trenton School District until her retirement in 2015. In retirement, Kathleen enjoyed caring for her many rescue animals, promoting animal rescue, and touching the lives of many people through her part-time work at CVS, Amazon, and IGA. In addition to her husband Russ, she is survived by her step-son: Michael Dzubryk and his wife Amanda of Elmer, NJ; two granddaughters: Chloe and Abigail Dzubryk; her sister and brother-in-law: Lora and Jody Ovsiew of Altamonte Springs, FL; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 21, from 5 to 9 PM at Teeters’ Funeral Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley, PA. The Prayer Service will be at 10 AM on Saturday, Oct. 22, at the funeral home with Deacon Matt Lorent of BVM Queen of Peace Church officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 PM at St. Mary's Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Trenton, NJ.
