Francis T. Harrigan, age 90, a resident of St. Mary's Villa Nursing Home, Elmhurst died Thursday, October 20, 2022. Born June 27, 1932, in Manhattan, NY, Frank was the son of the late Frank and Cecelia (Shannon) Harrigan. Prior to his retirement, Frank worked as a jewelry order inspector for Lenox China in New York. Formerly a resident of Queens, he moved to Tafton, PA, following his retirement. He was a member of BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Hawley. Frank was a movie buff and antique car enthusiast. Frank is survived by his cousins, Susan Sura of Tafton, George Harrigan of Pocono Lake and Michael Sura of Hawley. Calling hours will be Saturday, November 5, from 9 to 9:30 AM at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. There will be a Funeral Mass following at 10:00 AM at BVM Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor. Burial will be in B.V.M. Queen of Peace Cemetery, Hawley, after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations on Francis's memory may be made to St. Mary's Villa Nursing Home, 516 St. Mary's Villa Rd, Elmhurst, PA 18444.
