Charles "Chuck" DeAngelis, age 62, of Hemlock Farms, Hawley, died Monday, November 14, 2022 at home. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Susan J. (McConnell) DeAngelis.

Born September 11, 1960, in Bronx, NY, Chuck was the son of the late Diana (Lipton) DeAngelis and George DeAngelis of St. Augustine, FL.

A resident of Manorville, NY, until a year ago, Chuck was the owner and operator of DeAngelis Rentals in Sayville, NY. He was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church in Manorville, NY, and volunteered for many years with the Manorville Volunteer Fire Department.

In his free time, Chuck enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing and watching NASCAR races.

In addition to his wife Susan and his father, Chuck is survived by three brothers: George and his wife Karen of St. Augustine, FL, Robert and his wife Lydia of Pensacola, FL, and Michael and his wife Nancy of Oakdale, NY; four sisters-in-law: Linda Nutt of Hamburg, PA, Diana Fusco and her husband Bob of Ocean, NJ, Rose'Ann Orkin and her husband Jim, and April Nutt and her husband Victor of Silsbee, TX; two brothers-in-law: Thomas McConnell of Sparrowbush, NY, and Edward McConnell and his wife Joan of Tempe, AZ; and many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Barbara Ann and Robert Uzupes; and brother-in-law: William McCandless.

Calling hours will be Thursday, November 17, from 1 to 3 PM at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, Inc., 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The prayer service will follow at 3:00 at the funeral home with Rev. Edward J. Casey of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church of Shohola officiating.

Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 Route 112, Coram, NY, at 1 PM on Friday, November 18, 2022.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on November 18th from 2:30-5 PM at Manorville Fire Department, 16 Filas Carter Road, Manorville, NY.
