Obituary of Ronald Michael Tussel

Ronald Michael Tussel, age 78, of Bohemia, Hawley, died Monday, October 22, 2012, at home. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mabel Ann "Mae" Laursen Tussel.
Born November 15, 1933, in Elizabeth, NJ, he was the son of the late Michael and Helen Marie (Stefko) Tussel. A lifelong Bohemia resident, he was a graduate of Hawley High School and the University of Scranton and a Korean War Naval veteran.
Prior to his retirement, he employed for 27 Years by PennDOT as a Right Of Way Specialist. He had also worked as the Cost Control and Marketing Vice President for several companies and had been a Pike County Deputy Sheriff.
He was the oldest member of F&AM Lodge #218 and was the former president of Central Volunteer Fire Dept. A member of Beaver Brook Rod and Gun Club in Yulan, NY, he was an avid hunter and fisherman with his son and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Veronica and Charles Rosemergy of Bohemia, Hawley, his son and daughter-in-law: Ronald M. Jr. and Annette Tussel also of Bohemia, Hawley, and four grandchildren: Amanda and Cole Rosemergy and Cheyenne and JohnMichael Tussel.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gary William.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
