Where to even start .. I have so many memories with you and with Grandmom June. You guys were always there no matter what, and you never judged us. I have so many memories with you and guys
When grandmom passed away me and you became very close, and I am so happy that we did. You always acted so tough but I knew you were the sweetest, most gentle, caring, and kind man I have ever met. I am so grateful and lucky to have spoken with you the days leading up to your passing while you were fully conscious. You always used to get upset with me when I would push the beds together downstairs, you also did not like me bringing Haylie up within the past year. In all reality I knew the reason was because you were in bed shape and you did not want me to see you like that. When I spoke with you right before you passed you told me "Maddy, push the beds together I don't care, make that whole downstairs yours, I don't care about the dog, I just want you there with me" I have a sense of peace knowing that I let you know I would drop everything and come take care of you in your final time. I have never seen you cry before, but when I walked into that hospital, tears started streaming down your face and mine. I am so happy that I got to see you like that. You were one of my closest family members and the only one I could confide it. I love you so much pop pop, and I will never forget you! I am so lucky to have you, grandmom June, and Daddy as my guardian angels. I know you guys will take care of me forever. I love you!
