Obituary of Elizabeth Ann LoPue

Elizabeth Ann LoPue, formerly of Tanglwood North, Tafton, Pa, died on February 17, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY after a brief illness. She was 88 years old. Elizabeth was born to the late Anthony and Angelena Celentano on January 30, 1935 in the Bronx, NY., where she grew up and completed her education at Christopher Columbus High School. Elizabeth met Joseph P. LoPue, Jr, moved from the Bronx to Tanglwood North and were happily married for 64 years, preceding his death in 2019. Elizabeth moved to Atria Senior Living, New City, NY in 2021 to be closer to her family. She was truly happy there and spent the remainder of her life with many new friends. Surviving are her four Daughters, JoAnn Bracciodieta (and her husband, Anthony),Linda Camhy (and her husband Gerald),Carolyn Pesco (and her husband George) and Andrea LoPue. Also surviving are two sisters, Carole DeDona and Elaine Marazita (and her husband Salvatore). Elizabeth had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Elizabeth, was a Roman Catholic and had a private cremation at Ferncliff Crematory, Hartsdale, NY. A memorial service will take place at Teeter's East Chapel, 505 Church Street, Hawley Pa on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 11:00AM to 12 noon. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of any flowers, a donation in memory of Elizabeth, can be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to, and are under the care of Teeter's Funeral Chapel, Hawley, Pa.
