Joseph J. Kohut, age 84, of Dickson City died Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at home.
Mr. Kohut was born December 5,1938 in Dickson City, PA and was the son of the late Joseph A and Margaret (Fritch) Kohut.
Joe graduated from Johnson Technical School in 1956. Prior to his retirement he was construction superintendent for Pettinato Associates. He loved racing motorcycles, which is how he met Gail, golf and football. Joe and his wife shared a second home in Paupack since 1974.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years: J. Gail (Gumble) Kohut; one daughter: Kelli Gaughan and her husband, Ed of Moscow, PA, and several cousins.
A funeral mass will be held at a future date. His urn will be placed in the family plot in Pine Grove Cemetery at a time to be determined.
