Billy, Uncle Bill, Big Bill was a dear, kind, generous friend who Diane and I always laughed together since we were 8 years old. Dead shows and tapes were a constant topic. Memories of our youth on Perry ave always repeated with enhanced details. He spoke with his hands as much as his voice, and was a wannabe Italian. My mom often fed him Italian food so that may have aided in his conversion, and he was expected to stop in daily at dinner time in the Bronx. His latest line was “Ok, fine” to every question. He was our best man at our wedding and laughed thru that as well. The Bronx, Crestwood, New Rochelle and then Hawley people will always remember him as the fun, musicial, and pup loving bro. He had four titanium screws in his ankle that got us to park in the handicapped spots and take a golf cart up to our seats for a few years. Here’s some pics of our Giant game exploits, and his hand’s talking from last year. We love you Uncle Bill.
