Mark E Birchenough, age 59, of Hawley and originally from Elmwood Park, NJ, passed away, Friday, May 26, 2023, at Allied Services Hospice Center, Scranton. Born in Paterson, NJ on June 29, 1963, to Arthur "Bobby" and Regina (Schreiber) Birchenough. He was a cabinet maker. He was very hard-working and was willing to help everyone. He is survived by his parent, Arthur "Bobby” and Regina, sister, Michele, son Mark Deecee and his fiancé, Caroline, his fiancé, Sonja Tompkins, niece Kristan Kraus, aunt, Evelyn Cornwell, uncles, William Schreiber and Joseph Birchenough, several more aunts and uncles in Florida, cousins, Karen Nathan and Edwin Cornwell and several more in New Jersey and Florida. Mark was predeceased by his wife, Janet (Hoefner) Birchenough and a brother, Robert. His favorite pastime was to watch old movies, listen to his favorite groups, AC/DC and Led Zeppelin, but his favorite of all times was his Nike sneakers and hot dogs from Riverview in Elmwood Park, NJ. Calling hours will be Saturday, June 10th from 1 to 1:30 PM at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, Inc., 505 Church St, Hawley, PA, followed by a prayer service at 1:30 PM..
