Scott Richard Tabler, age 72, of Beach Lake died Friday, October 20, 2023, at Geisinger-Community Medical Center, Scranton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa (Cullen) Tabler.

Born February 15, 1951, in Princeton, NJ, he was the son of the late Richard and Ann Beverly (DiIorio) Tabler. He was a graduate of Hightstown High School, Class of 1970. For many years, he owned and operated his own sub shop, Hightstown Steak and Sub.

An avid fan of the New York Yankees and Green Bay Packers, he also enjoyed riding motorcycles and shooting darts. Scott was a beloved father and grandfather, but he was especially proud to be a great grandfather.

He is survived by one daughter: Jacqueline Mendoza of Bradenton, FL; one brother: Jamie Dzurinko of Hightstown, NJ; two granddaughters: Carolynn Nipe of Roosevelt, NJ and Brianna Lewis of Hightstown, NJ; and three great grandchildren: Sarah, Adam and Megan.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
