Obituary of Karoline Rosa Gumble

Please share a memory of Karoline to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Karoline Rosa Gumble, age 66, of Paupack, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Allied Services Hospice Center, Scranton. Born June 7, 1957, in Irvington, NJ, Karoline was the daughter of the late Theodore Stanley and Magdalena Olsheski. She was a graduate of Roxbury High School, Class of 1975, in Succasunna, NJ. Although Karoline had several occupations over the years, she didn't consider any of them to be just a job. She lived the idea that if you love what you do, it's not work. As a baker, she was able to express her artistic side to create that perfect cake for each person's special occasion. When she was a bus driver, she enjoyed getting to know her students and watching them grow up. With her real estate clients, she helped them to find their dream home. Her truest calling and greatest joy, however, was being such an important part of her grandson Ethan's life. She is survived by her husband: Douglas Gumble; her two sons: Bradley Gumble and his fiancée Michelle Sobilo of Tafton and Kevin Gumble and his wife Amanda of Jessup; her two grandchildren: Ethan and Emma; two brothers: Joseph Olsheski and his wife Mary Ellen of Paupack and Thomas Olsheski and his wife Barbara of Dunmore; as well as several nieces and nephews scattered around the country. Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. Donations in Karoline's memory may be made to Allied Services Foundation, 100 Abington Executive Park, Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
