MacKenzie Kay Lawlor, age 21, of Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley died Friday, December 15, 2023. Born August 3, 2002, in Manassas, Virginia, MacKenzie was the daughter of Kevin and Noel Lawlor of Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley. She was a 2020 graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School. She worked as a receptionist at Paupack Fuel in Hawley. Also she was a licensed Notary. She was a light wherever she went and that will never be extinguished. MacKenzie was a talented artist and painter, as well as singer and dancer. She especially loved working with children. In addition to her parents, she is survived by six brothers: Robert Van Hook of Hawley, Christopher MacDonald of Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley, Matthew MacDonald of Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley, Trever Turner of West Virginia, Jacob Bagley of Ashland, VA, and Wyatt Bagley of California; her biological mother: Jami Turner; her dear friends: Scott Hallock, Carmen and Darren; and her beloved pets: Pooh and Theo. Visitation will be Saturday, January 27th from 1-3 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley, PA, followed by a celebration of life at 3 PM. After the service family and friends are invited to the Fawn Lake Forest Club House, 108 Bay Center Cir, Hawley, PA 18428 from 4-9 PM. Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. In honor of her love of animals, donations in MacKenzie’s memory may be made to Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Rd., Honesdale, PA 18431.
