Obituary of Laura K. Dawe

Laura K. Dawe, age 71, of Paupack Gardens in Paupack, died Thursday, January 25, 2024, at home. Ms. Dawe was born February 3, 1952, in Rockville, MD and was the daughter of the late Lynn Decker and Luella Jane (Timson) Decker. She was a graduate of Marywood University and worked in the accounting department at Tobyhanna Army Depot. Laura was a member of Paupack United Methodist Church and also attended St. Ann's RC Church in Greeley. She was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was an R.E. agent at Wiler Brush Co., She was an animal lover and volunteered at Dessin Animal Shelter and enjoyed Hawley's dog park. She is survived by two sons, Trevor Dawe of Greeley and Kevin Dawe of Greentown; three grandchildren, Emory, Gabriella and Jemma; one brother, Scott Becker of Sarasota, Fl; and her former spouse, Peter Dawe. She was predeceased by her twin brother, Allen. Private cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
