Andrea M. Koch, age 79, of Shohola died Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Allied Services Hospice Center, Scranton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alden Thomas Koch, in 1996.

Born December 1, 1944, in Glen Cove, NY, Ann was the daughter of the late Andrew M. and Margaret Mary (Finneran) Simons. She was a graduate of LIM College in Manhattan, where she studied business and fashion.

She worked for many years at Alice's Wonderland in Greeley and later operated the White Pine Inn. In her free time, she loved playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter: Lisa Ann Hogan of Shohola; one son: Andrew Russell Koch and his wife Elaine, also of Shohola; four grandchildren: Caleb Hogan, Ashley Presto, Nichole Smith, and Haley Hogan; and a brother: Gerard Simons and his wife Patty of Farmingdale, NY.

Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. She will be interred at a later date in German Hill Cemetery beside her husband Al.
