Obituary of Betty Y. McCullough

Betty Y. McCullough, age 89, of Lords Valley died Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. Mrs. McCullough was born October 12, 1934, in Eldred, NY and was the daughter of the late James R. and Theo (Horton) Young. She worked in the administration office at Hemlock Farms Community Association. Betty loved her family, her birds, and flowers. She was known as Gramma Betty to her friends. She was an excellent cook. She is survived by one daughter: Patricia L. Magie of Lords Valley, PA; four grandchildren, Buddy and wife Nickole Magie, Blake and wife Alex Magie, Brandon Parker, Brody Parker; four great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Zachary, Tucker, and Aver y Magie; two sisters & brothers-in-law, Edie & Joe Clouse of Buffalo, NY, and Jackie & Jurgen Schwanke of West Clift, CO. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 6th at the River's Edge Restaurant in Barryville, NY at 12 pm and graveside service will be held Saturday, April 6th at 4 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Bethel, NY with Pastor Herbert Jacobsen officiating.
