Obituary of James F. Pouliot

James F. Pouliot, age 50, of Lakeville died Friday, April 5, 2024, at Hospice of The Sacred Heart in Dunmore. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Jaime (Kubina) Pouliot.
Born September 21, 1973, in Rahway, NJ, he was the son of Fernand Joseph and Karen Terese (Schultz) Pouliot of Old Bridge, NJ. A resident of Lakeville for 17 years, he worked as a carpenter. An all-around outdoorsman, James enjoyed hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
James was a graduate of Madison Central High School class of 1991. He held a few networking degrees as well as being a certified in training mortician before returning and settling with all aspects of carpentry.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by one daughter: Jaryn Pouliot of Lakeville; two sons: Jaedan and Jaxton Pouliot of Lakeville; one brother: Michael Pouliot and his wife Melissa of Old Bridge; his mother-in-law: Mary Kubina and her partner Jerry Cucchiara of Howell, NJ; one sister-in-law: Erin MacIntyre and her husband Dan of Freehold , NJ; and many aunts, uncles and cousins, several nieces and nephews both here in the States as well as Canada.
James was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline, his father-in-law, Kenneth Kubina, his paternal grandparents, Simone and Noel Pouliot and his maternal grandparents, Edwin and Terese Schultz.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 4 to 7 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 507 Church St, Hawley.
Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart or the Pouliot family to assist with expenses.
