Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Vito received a cherished gift. Every time we entered the front gate at the Springs and saw Vito, regardless of how long or how much traffic we encountered, we immediately smiled at our welcome and felt we were home. When we actually were fortunate enough to become full time residents we were able to get to see him almost daily, much to our benefit. I remember coming across Vito during my walks at the Springs where he was decked out in colorful tick protective clothing hawking lost balls. He was a special person. Rest in peace Vito.
