Ronald Eric Compton, age 60, of White Mills died unexpectedly, Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale.

Mr. Compton was born June 17, 1964, in Honesdale, PA and was the son of the late Robert and Elsie (Dietrich) Compton. He was predeceased by his brother, William Compton.

Ron was a mechanic and enjoyed cooking and car shows. He volunteered with Beach Lake Fire Company. Ron was known for his great sense of humor.

He is survived by one son: Brandon Compton and his fiancé, Karissa Heiberger of Beach Lake; three daughters: Kayla Compton and her companion, Donald Stout of Hawley, Brooke Compton and her fiancé, Cody Savacool of Bowman's Town, PA and Christina Compton of Honesdale; five grandchildren: Saige, Logan, Xander, Mia and Rowan; four brothers: Gerald and his wife Tina of Hawley, Jay and his wife Elona of Hawley, Robert Jr. of Florida and Todd of Florida.

Private cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
