Theodore Anderson Beck, III, age 71, of Greentown died Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. He is survived by his wife, Frances Victoria (Padilla) Beck, whom he married on Dec. 10, 1977.

Born January 21, 1953, in Allentown, PA, Ted was the son of the late Theodore Anderson Beck II and the late Mary Elizabeth (Kline) Beck. Ted joined the United States Coast Guard where he had a 20-year career, retiring with a rank of Chief Medical Warrant Officer 3.

He was a deeply generous man who would give you the shirt off his back. In his free time, he loved hunting and his Harley Davidson.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Victoria Elizabeth Beck of Harmans, MD and Stephanie Theodora Beck of Honesdale; one brother: Stewart John Beck of South Park, PA; and his beloved dog: Sasha.

Ted was preceded in death by three sisters, Harriett Marion Beck, Robin Snowden and Anne Beck.

Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory.
