Obituary of Karen Ann Krellwitz

Karen Ann Krellwitz, age 67, of Hawley died Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Krellwitz, in 2020.
Born September 7, 1957, in Rahway, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George and Nancy (Walker) Malsam. Formerly of Metuchen, NJ, she had earned her associate's degree in accounting from Lackawanna County Community College. She loved to crochet and do crossword puzzles.
She is survived by two daughters: Nancy Krellwitz and her husband Joe Sullivan of Hawley and Heather Howell and her husband Del of Lake Ariel; three sisters: Donna Robinson, Cathi Kramer, and Joanne DiFabrizio, all of New Jersey; one brother: Adam Malsam of Florida; and four grandchildren: Emily, Kevin, Rayne, and Jeffrey.
Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
Karen and Wilson's urn will be interred together in Green Gates Cemetery in Spring 2025.
