Mrs. Hunter was an outstanding teacher and I was fortunate to have her for both 3rd and 4th grade. She promoted everyone's special talents, while gently pushing me to find hidden talents within. Mrs. Hunter was my competitor at the end of every school year to play tether ball. I still see her smile and hear her laugh in my memories of those times. I was privileged to receive a phone call from her many years later as a young mother. She tracked me down through an aunt. I am truly blessed from having known such an extraordinary woman. I am a much better person from having Mrs. Hunter in my life. My condolences to the family. My prayers are with you all. God bless you during this time.

I was so sorry to read about Margaret's passing in the News Eagle. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the service because the funeral of a church friend is the same time. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Margaret was my late husband, David Hunter's, sister-in-law. She was a very important, loving person to my husband, when he needed her. And she was always warm and welcoming to us when we visited, and wonderful with my son, Christopher. Her smile, her love of animals, and even her scarey driving are part of my good memories of her. Bless you, Margaret.

Margaret was a very special friend to our family...she was always there for me with encouragement & support as a fellow teacher. She made the transition to a new school for our daughter, Brenda, a very positive experience. Bob & I had many great concert experiences with Dick & Margaret...Margaret & I cried together when we had to have our beloved "Rex" put to sleep. I have memories of her coming to our door on Church Street to have coffee while waiting for her car to be serviced at the Hawley Garage. What a ladt!ROBGOM
