Barbara M. Frisbie, age 79, of Zephyr Hills, FL and formerly of Hawley, PA, died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Gulfside Regional Hospice, Dade City, FL. Mrs. Frisbie was born September 26, 1933 in Hawley, PA and was the daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Wheele) Austin. She was predeceased by 13 siblings. Barbara was a homemaker who loved watching wrestling, taught ceramics for many years, ran a hot dog cart in Hawley and liked doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by her husband: Robert Frisbie, four daughters: Charlotte Wintermute of Hawley, PA, Christine Kolosky of FL, Joan Wansor of FL, Judy Nonnenmacher of FL and three sons: Charles Frisbie of Hawley, PA, Robert Elliott Frisbie of Hawley, PA, Matthew Frisbie of Waymart, PA; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters: Martha Frisbie, Paula Anderson and two brothers: Bruce Austin, John Austin and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday, March 7th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Friday, March 8th at 11 AM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Jr., Retired Pastor Hawley United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery in Hawley. Memorials may be made to Lehigh Valley Burn Center, Kasych Pavilion, 3rd floor,Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest,1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd.,Allentown, PA 18103
