What a beautiful tribute to my dear friend, Al. I will always remember the good times, the laughter, and the fun that Al, Anne & I had together.
They were such a devoted couple, and Anne, my dear friend, you were such a good caregiver.
It's so very difficult to realize that he's gone. My love to you Anne, and the rest of your family. I will be in touch.

Al was the hardest working person I have ever met! He never gave up and pushed himself to accomplish his goals. Anne's unconditional love helped him to acieve even more. I think he enjoyed impressing her! I learned so much from him and he will live on forever in my heart.

I've never known a more selfless, compassionate, loving, caring person than Al. He lived life to the max and one could sense a spirit of joy and laughter when he entered a room. As a cousin by marriage, I loved him dearly and have many wonderful memories of times together. He will be greatly missed.

Al was a cousin to my mom, My fondest memory of al was visiting him and his wife in New York city at there home. Being my first time to the city he arranged a trip for my mom and dad and I for a trip around the statue of liberty on a NYC fire boat. He also got me hooked on the American civil war and upon graduating high school he gave me a confederate war bond which I still have to this day hanging on a wall. He was a great influence in my life and will be missed.

I LOVE the picture of Al....exactly the way I will always remember him....with a big smile on his face! Our family always enjoyed visiting with Al and Anne when they came to Arizona. Phil and I especially enjoyed white water rafting down the Colorado river and hiking out of the Grand Canyon many years ago with Al and my Dad! Such a wonderful memory! We are sad to know he has passed away, but at the same time, BLESSED to have had time with him.....Anne, Maggie, Steve and Diana, you are all in our prayers!

Such a wonderful picture of Al! Just as I remember him! Smiling and happy! He and Anne were such a great couple. We have a lot of family memories with him! Most memorable was our 1972 trip to NYC and him walking us all around the city and showing us the main touristy things! Such a great guy!

Too many memories to list. My overall memory of Al will forever be of him CONSTANTLY smiling and laughing and calling me "Sport" with his thick New York accent. Hilarious! Always quick witted and and super smart, although every time I saw him he swore I had gotten taller even though I hadnt grown since 1986. LOL. Al was the perfect uncle. I will always love him and will forever remember My Uncle Al.

Maggie, although I didn't have the pleasure of meeting your dad, his smile in these photos says it all. I hope his indomitable spirit helps buoy you and your family during these challenging times.
