Diane, Brett, Allison and families....I am so very sorry for your loss. I have many very fond memories of Bob at the market on Church Street. From the Dr. Pepper bottle cap games, talking baseball often, and just general chat - very caring. I made it a point to stop in and see him at that store up by the lake. He didn't recognize me after 30 years, but it didn't take long before we were chatting it up like old times again. A very special part of my "Hometown Memories" which I am so very blessed to have - another True Hawley Great! Thanks SO much for sharing Bob with the rest of us, who in turn, are blessed by having known him. God Bless you all.....

We were so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I recall when you had the store on Church Street then when we were all kids going to your house to pick up Brett to go to the stables riding horses. Bob always had a hello and smile when I would see him on his milkcrate in the aisles of IGA. Hope you all find comfort in the many great memories you have of happier times. With love and sympathy Bryan and Laurie(Livanavage) Dauchert

I only spoke with Bob once and he was quite nice and open to speaking to a stranger with the same name. I have the same name (middle name is different) and was born on the same day (exactly 30 years earlier). We both thought this a strange but fun coincidence. Peace be upon you Bob Karkheck. I hope your part of the Karkheck family is doing well.
