Teresa L. Barnes, age 37, of Lackawaxen died Monday, January 19, 2004 at Community Medical Center, Scranton, from injuries received from an auto accident.
Mrs. Barnes was born July 26, 1966 at Port Jervis, NY the daughter of Elmer L. and Romy (Weischedel) Messenger.
She was employed by Wallenpaupack Area School District as a driver and was also a massage therapist. Mrs. Barnes was a member of Avid snowmobiler she also loved motorcycles and ATVs
She is survived by her husband of 17 years: Joseph F. Barnes, one daughter: Jeanine Barnes At Home and one son: Curtis Barnes At Home, her parents Elmer L. and Romy Messenger of Shohola, PA, one sister: Cherie Graber of Shohola, PA and one brother: Matthew Messenger of Fort Thomas, KY , Paternal Grandmother, Stella Mead of Matamoras, PA
. Memorial Service will be Saturday Jan 24, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Lutheran Church, Church Road, Rowland with Rev. Norm Beighley Pastor officiating.
