Kenneth A. Ackerman, Jr., age 5, of Hawley died Thursday, January 22, 2004 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. He was born May 14, 1998 at Honesdale, PA, and was the son of Deborah (Wozesniewski) Ackerman and the late Kenneth Andrew Ackerman Sr.
He is survived by his mother: Deborah (Wozesniewski) Ackerman; one sister: Krystal L. Ackerman of Eagle Lake, FL; and five brothers: Jeffrey J. Peirano of Honesdale, PA, Brian J. Peirano of Hawley, PA, Robert A. Peirano of Honesdale, PA, David W. Peirano of Newfoundland, PA, and William C. Peirano of Hawley, PA; and his paternal grandfather, Edward Ackerman of Little Egg Harbor, NJ.
Calling hours will be Monday, Jan. 26, from 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, Inc., 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 10:00AM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Jr., Pastor of Hawley United Methodist Church, officiating.
Memorials may be made to Deborah Ackerman Fund, c/o Wayne Bank, PO Box 469, Hawley, PA 18428, to benefit the fire victims.
