Obituary of Helen M. Bebensee

Helen M. Bebensee, age 87, Hawley, died Friday, February 20, 2004 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. Mrs. Bebensee was born April 26, 1916 in Honesdale, PA, and was the daughter of the late George and the late Nora (Krukar) Klinkiewicz. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank J. Skalski, and her second husband, Harvey M. Bebensee.
She was employed by Katz Underwear Mill, Honesdale, PA
She is survived by one daughter: Ann Marie Kimble of Mechanicsburg, PA; one son: James F. Skalski of Centerville, OH; two sisters: Sophie Fingen of Rochester, NY, and Agnes Zielinski of Prompton, PA; one brother: Joseph Klinkiewicz of Waymart, PA; 7 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday, Feb. 23, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at 10:00AM at Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, and will be celebrated by Rev. William B. Healey, Pastor. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Honesdale.
