Obituary of Eugene Arno Krause

Eugene Arno Krause, age 78, of Hawley died Saturday, March 6, 2004 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. Mr. Krause was born October 14, 1925 at Honesdale, PA the son of the late George T and the late Louise K (Geiger) Krause. He was married to Carolyn B Duske for 53 Years. He served in the Navy from 1943 to 1946 during World War II. He was employed as a Truck Driver by Highhouse Oil, Honesdale. He was later employed by Wallenpaupack Area Schools as a Cafeteria van driver. Mr. Krause was a life member of Hawley Fire Dept., PO Box 61, Hawley, PA 18428 He was also a member of VFW Robert Drake Memorial Post 5823, Hawley, PA 18428 He is survived by his wife: Carolyn B (Duske) Krause Daughter & Son-in-law, Louise And Rich Hillriegel of Hawley, PA; Son & Daughter-in-law, Eugene And Wendy E Krause of Hawley, PA; Son & Daughter-in-law, James And Renee A Krause of Hawley, PA; Grandchildren, Jackie And Brooke Hillriegel of Hawley, PA; One Nephew and one brother: George T Krause of Narrowsburg, NY He was predeceased by his sister Gloria.
