Mommy,
It's hard to think that I won't have you for Mother's Day. I can remember heading down to your apartment many times, thinking when I saw the flower stands set up for holidays with artificial flowers for cemeteries, "Thank God, I don't have to buy that kind of flower for my mother!" I was always happy to buy you fresh flowers whether or not there was an occasion, because I was always grateful to have you!
It's been a month now since you went on, and I've been in a daze. It was a shock. I guess your cold turned to pneumonia. I knew you were getting tired...and so, you went to sleep.
I pray that you find many friends in Heaven, and that God gives you everything that you didn't have on Earth.
I love you, Mom.
