Obituary of Charles Joseph Bory

Charles Joseph Bory, age 80, of Colony Cove South, Tafton, died Saturday, May 8, 2004, at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart. Mr. Bory was born July 8, 1923, in New York City, NY, and was the son of the late Charles and the late Mary (Kenderachie) Bory. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, the former Francine Sicco. He served in the Army during World War II.
He was a retired Director of Purchasing for Chicago Heater Co. & Chemap. Mr. Bory was a member of AARP, Wayne Co. Chapter #2409.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his twin daughters: Lisa Bory and Lynn Bory, both of Coram, NY; and one son: Charles H. Bory of Long Beach, NY; as well as a grandson: Christopher Bory
Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 at Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. William B. Healey, Pastor. Additional services will be held through the St. James Funeral Home, St. James, NY. Burial will be in Washington Memorial Park, Coram, NY, on May 14, 2004.
