Obituary of Peter B. Devroe

Peter B. Devroe, age 88, of Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls, NJ died Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at Tinton Falls.
Mr. Devroe was born September 14, 1915 at Amersfoort, NETHERLANDS the son of the late Peter and Jeanette (Mollerus) Devroe. He married Suzan Visser in 1943.
Mr. Devroe served in the Dutch Military Forces beginning in 1937. His career in International Banking includes: Netherlands Trading Society in Amsterdam, Dutch Bank in Borneo, Singapore and Saudi Arabia. Following his relocation to the United States, he worked for Bank of America from 1949 to 1963, Netherlands Overseas Bank in New York until 1967 and retired from Celulosa Argentina, SA in New York in 1981.
He is survived by his wife: Suzan (Visser) Devroe and three sons: William Peter Devroe of Wayne, NJ, Harry James Devroe of Haarlem, HOLLAND, Robert Freddy Devroe of Charlotte, NC, also 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
Prior to moving to Tinton Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Devroe resided in Kinnelon, NJ and Galilee, PA. A Memorial Service will be held at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley at 11:30 am on Saturday September 11, 2004.
