Obituary of Ralph J. Morella

Ralph J. Morella, age 93, of Lords Valley, PA, died Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at Barnhill Care Center, Newton, NJ. Mr. Morella was born October 15, 1910, in West New York, NJ, and was the son of the late Ralph J. and Ann (Laresch) Morella. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Anna Gallagher Morella. He was employed as a hardware salesman and was a train collector who also loved music. He is survived by two daughters: Mrs. George (Joan) Schmalzle of Lords Valley, PA, and Mrs. Edward (Joyce) Barkowski of Hampton, NJ. He was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Jr., in 2000. There will be a Funeral Mass Saturday, July 3, 2004, at 10:00 AM at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Blooming Grove, PA, with Rev. Gerald Mulally, officiating. Burial will be in Queen Of Peace Cemetery, Hawley, PA, following the service. Memorials may be made to Barnhill Care Center, Newton, NJ, in memory of Ralph Morella.
