Howard R. Buckingham, age 92, of Tobyhanna died Thursday, July 8, 2004 at Julia Ribaudo Senior Care Center, Lake Ariel. Mr. Buckingham was born January 23, 1912 at Glen Eyre, PA the son of the late Howard and the late Lettie (McKeel) Buckingham. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a Hunting Guide by Blooming Grove Hunting Club. He is survived by his wife: Mildred (Finan) Buckingham, one daughter: Joan Pompei of Hereford, PA and one son: Raymond Buckingham of Matamoras, PA Stepdaughter, Sue Keller of Tobyhanna, PA Brother of two sisters: Hazel McCaslin of Dearborn, MI, Ila Vanno of Scranton, PA Grandchildren, Wayne & Sandra Pompei of Perkasie, PA; Grandchildren, Randall & Connie Pompei of East Greenville, PA; Grandchild, Holly Buckingham of Matamoras, PA; Grandchild, Michael Buckingham of Matamoras, PA; Grandchild, Raymond C. Martin of Hawley, PA; Grandchild, Adam Gumble of Tobyhanna, PA Mr. Buckingham was predeceased by his first wife Martha Kyzer Buckingham in 1979 and a sister Virginia Bortree. Calling hours will be Friday July 9, 2004 from 7 to 9 PM and Saturday July 10, 2004 from 10 to 11 AM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Saturday July 10, 2004 at 11:00 at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev Douglas Rhine, Pastor Blooming Grove Baptist Church, officiating. Memorials may be made to Blooming Grove Baptist Church, Rt 402, Blooming Grove, Hawley, PA 18428
