Obituary of Rudolph Szarka

Rudolph Szarka, age 77, Canal Acres, Hawley, died Thursday, July 15, 2004, at home.
Mr. Szarka was born December 21, 1926, in Hungary, and was the son of the late Jeno and Erzsebet (Mohos) Szarka. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, the former Aranka Katalin Ladas.
He was a self-employed floor refinisher until his retirement in 1992, at which time he and his wife moved to the Hawley area.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Magdalena Riley of Rowensford, NH, and Agnes Knight of Rowensford, NH; two sons: Victor Szarka of Scottsdale, AZ, and Rudolph Szarka of Hemlock Farms, Hawley, PA; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Friday, July 16, from 4:00-5:00 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA.
