Christina Nolan, age 87, of, Woodbury, CT, died Thursday, August 5, 2004, at Waterbury Hospital, Waterbury, CT.
Mrs. Nolan was born December 24, 1916, in Dublin, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Catherine (Gaffney) Lawlor. She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Nolan, in 1994 and two sisters, Marie Moore and Eva Corwell.
She was employed as a housekeeper by Queen Of Peace Rectory, Hawley.
Mrs. Nolan was a member of Woodbury, CT, Senior Citizens.
She is survived by two daughters: Catherine Wilcock of Killiney County, Dublin, Ireland,and Dolores Nolan of Staten Island, NY; one son: Edward Nolan of Bethlehem, CT; one sister: Kathleen Johnston of Dublin, Ireland; and one brother: Thomas Lawlor of Dublin, Ireland.
Calling hours will be Sunday Aug 8, 2004 from 2 to 4 PM only at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral mass will be Monday Aug 9, 2004 at 10:30AM at Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, by Rev. William B. Healey, Pastor.
Burial will be in Queen Of Peace Cemetery, Hawley.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association NEPA District, 730 Pittston Ave., Scranton, PA 18505.
