Obituary of Margaret Anna McGinty

Margaret Anna McGinty, age 78, of Hawley, died Friday, August 13, 2004, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale.
Mrs. McGinty was born March 10, 1926 in Hawley, PA, and was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Margaret (Marfing) McNamara. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, James M. H. McGinty.
She was retired from her position as a Secretary at Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church.
Mrs. McGinty was a private piano and organ teacher and a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society. In addition, she had been an organist at Queen of Peace RC Church for many years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a cousin, Mary Jean McNamara of New York City, NY.
Calling hours will be Monday, August 16, 2004, from 2 to 4 PM only at TEETERS' First Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Tuesday, August 17, 2004, at 10:00 AM at Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. William B. Healey, Pastor. Burial will be in Queen Of Peace Cemetery, Hawley.
