James Joseph Fiorio, Jr., age 75, of Hawley, died Friday, September 17, 2004, at Julia Ribaudo Senior Care Center, Lake Ariel. He was born June 30, 1929 in Buchanan, NY, and was the son of the late James J. and the late Mildred (Lancaster) Fiorio, Sr. He is survived by his wife, the former Helen Mortensen.
He was employed as an Account Manager by NY Central Railroad and was a Life member of the Elks Lodge #744 in Peekskill, NY.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: James J. Fiorio III of LaGrande, NY, and Robert B. Fiorio of Van Cortlandt Manor, NY; one sister: Doris Sacher of New Port Richie, FL; a
stepson: David Lage of Morristown, NJ; and a stepdaughter: Erica Higgins of Stroudsburg, PA.
The Memorial Mass will be Saturday, October 23, 2004, at 10:00 AM at Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, with Rev. William B. Healey, Pastor, officiating.
