Joseph Francis Bunt, Sr., age 83, of Hawley died Friday, September 24, 2004 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale.
Mr. Bunt, Sr. was born November 17, 1920 at Pennsaucken, NJ the son of the late James and May (Weidner) Bunt. He was married to Frances Maguire Bunt.
He served in the Navy from 1944 to 1946 during World War II .

He was the retired owner of Bunts Auto Service. He was past president of the Lions Club and a member of the VFW and American Legion, all in Cherry Hill, NJ.
He is survived by his wife: Frances (Maguire) Bunt, Sr. and three sons: Joseph J. Bunt, Jr. of Corrales, NM, David J. Bunt of Albuquerque, NM, James R. Bunt, Sr. of Hawley, PA
Two sisters: Beverly Fitzpatrick and Regina Cunningham
His former Wife, Edith M. Proca of Albuquerque, NM; Step Daughter, Frances Stankina of Trooper, PA and a Step Son, Gerald Roberts of Hatboro, PA
Mr. Bunt was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Bunt, Sr
There will be no public services for Mr. Bunt.
