Edmund N. Charette, age 81, of Hawley, died Saturday, September 25, 2004 at VA Medical Center, Wilkes-barre.
Mr. Charette was born May 8, 1923 in Staten Island, NY the son of the late Edmund C. and the late Marie (DeCiro) Charette.
He served in the Coast Guard during World War II .
He was an excavator.
He is survived by two daughters: Marie Peck of Pleasant Mount, PA, Eileen Avallone of Hawley, PA and one son: Thomas Charette of Hawley, PA 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son Edmund A., and grandson Georgie McKean, a brother Charles and a sister May Klein.
A memorial gathering will be held at the convenience of the family.
