Marion Lou Masker, age 73, of Mayfield, PA, died Monday, November 29, 2004, at home.
Born October 20, 1931, in Middletown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Leeroy and the late Blanche Elizabeth Masker. She was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Everett Ross Masker,Sr. in 1983. In addition, she was predeceased by six children, Sandy Lee, Violet Louis, Emma Julia, Mary Elizabeth, Everett Ross, Jr. and Richard Leeroy; as well as a brother, Ernest Leeroy,Jr.
She was employed as a seamstress by Arrow Throwing Mill, Hawley, PA, and was also a homemaker. A member of the Hawley United Methodist Church. A kind hearted and generous person; she was to everyone. Her family will always think of her as Funny Face. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a devoted wife, whose heart was there for everyone. She was great for her flower and vegatable gardens. She enjoyed her family and friends.
She is survived by four daughters: Gloria Ann Eck of Honesdale, PA, Darlene Nellie Bidwell of Mayfield, PA, Penny Candy Rowe of White Mills, PA, Bonnie Lou Masker of Mayfield, PA; two sons: Robert Allen Masker of White Mills, PA, and Theodore Edwards Masker with whom she resided in Mayfield, PA; one brother: Merritt Masker of Hawley, PA; 20 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday from Noon to 2:00PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Friday at 2:00 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, with Rev. Barbara Snyder, Pastor of First United Methodist Church of Carbondale, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Paupack, PA.
