Obituary of Lawrence A. Moor

Lawrence A. Moor, age 54, of Hemlock Farms, Hawley died Sunday, January 9, 2005 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. Mr. Moor was born May 28, 1950 in Manhattan, NY and was the son of Melchior and Harriet (Koch) Moor.
He retired as a stockbrocker from Prudential Financial in 2003 after 30 years. Mr. Moor became the owner & innkeeper in 2004 of the Inn at Pecks Pond. He was an avid football booster for his son John at Wallenpaupack & Lycoming College.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years: Barbara Ann (Scott) Moor, two daughters and sons-in-law: Jessica Ann Moor and Joseph Miele of Glen Rock, NJ, Dierdre A. Moor and William Ortlinghaus of Honesdale, PA and one son: John A. Moor at home; He is also survived by his parents Melchior and Harriet (Koch) Moor and two grandchildren, Megan & Liam Moor-Miele
Calling hours will be Tuesday Jan. 11 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Wednesday Jan. 12 at 11:00AM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev. Theodore Muller, Visitation Pastor at Hawley United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Milford Cemetery, Milford on Wednesday.
